Unlocking a cellphone associated with one of Verizon Value's brands refers to disabling software that would otherwise prevent you from activating the cellphone on another carrier's network. However, due to different carrier technologies, an unlocked Verizon Value cellphone may not work, or may experience limited functionality, on another carrier's network. Verizon Value is not responsible for any limitations of service, or otherwise, resulting from the use of an unlocked cellphone on another provider's network. Verizon Value is unable to unlock Non-Verizon Value branded cellphones using Verizon Value service (BYOP).
For customers with cellphones capable of remote unlocking (this includes most iPhones and some Android cellphones):
Verizon Value will remotely unlock the phone when it becomes eligible for unlocking, provided it meets the following conditions:
The cellphone must be in working condition and turned ON.
The cellphone has not been reported stolen or lost and there are no indicators of fraud.
The cellphone was activated with Verizon Value service by purchasing and redeeming an airtime plan on that specific phone ("Activation")
For all cellphones Activated prior to November 23, 2021 on any carrier network and all cellphones Activated on the T-Mobile or AT&T networks on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked upon customer request after twelve (12) months of active paid service.
For all cellphones Activated on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically 60 days after paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service.

There's literally nothing this phone fails at. The camera certainly isn't flagship grade, but it's pretty good; better than the Edge 2024. Go look at GSMarena's review. Performance is buttery smooth, there's 3.5mm headphone jack + microSD support. Battery life is really good and charging speed is super fast. Fingerprint & face unlock are fast. The only negative for me is no Always on Display.
The order limit I mentioned is specific to the TF branded websites. HSN/QVC cancels orders for using new customer coupons when you're not a new customer. That's kind of a separate issue.
I want to make sure I understand the timing correctly to avoid paying for more than 60 days of service, but still meet the unlocking requirements.
After I receive the Stylus phone and activate the Straight Talk $45 plan for the first 30 days (required to qualify for the free phone), I would then purchase a $15 TracFone SIM/plan like this one [tracfone.com]?
To satisfy the 60-day unlocking requirement, when should I contact TracFone to request the rebrand to TracFone? If I rebrand to TracFone and activate a 30-day TracFone plan before all 30 days of the initial Straight Talk plan have completed, will all 30 days of the Straight Talk plan still count toward the 60-day unlock requirement?

Not sure if you activate the second account if it would still unlock, I really doubt it. They are very particular.

Based on my recent experience, that trick no longer works. Just last week when I tried buying the $25 lan from Walmart for my second month, Walmart app and website kept erroring out. When I checked with Walmart support on that, they confirmed that that this specific plan is only valid as the very first recharge for a new line.

Steps:
- Purchase silver plan for $45 (30 days) with Stylus Phone (Cost: $45)
- Activate phone when received and use for 29 days (less than 30)
- Change rate plan to cheaper one like $25 on Straight Talk [OR] transfer to tracfone for $19.99 for 30 days (or if any target GC for $15-20 for 30 days plan)
- Get phone unlocked on Tracfone
Question: Do I need to use phone for 60 days on Tracfone too? or Straight Talk + Tracfone total 60 days for unlocking? Please help understand steps considering very new to this world. Thank you for your time.
