I was going to say just by looking at them, the material looks like it's going to rip apart with minimal wear in all of the spots that aren't protected by the overengineered "hand armor". Sure enough, looking at customer photos, I was right. Fingertips give out in just a few months.

Straight into the trash.

I agree. Mechanix isn't what they used to be. The synthetic palm materials are way to thin and wears out too fast.

And by "what they used to be" you mean more than a decade ago or since they started "partnering" / getting bought out by Dupont?

Loved the brand in late 90s early 00s but they fell off quick, or at minimum, every other glove brand put out equivalent or better products for less $$

I got a free pair of their 'fastfit tactical work gloves' along with a mechanix facemask back in 2020 and I loved how quick & no fuss the gloves were to get on & off. Unfortunately the other users here are correct in that the material they use for their gloves is very poor; holes began to wear at the fingertips after just months of use.
