Update:-
It seems chatting with Lenovo sales most are able to get this laptop at $1120.30 that is another $110 less than what I had posted earlier.
========
If you missed TG sale, the same config with current discounts and a better GPU (5060 vs 5070) for approx. the same price is on sale at Lenovo portal through custom build.
The only reason I preferred to go this route was to get 32GB RAM which is expensive in today's date. The change from 16GB to 32GB only costs additional $60.

This Legion 5 Gen 10 AMD looks like a portable gaming and creator laptop that also handles AI and productivity work well. The Ryzen AI 7 350 is described as efficient for battery life while still being decently powerful, and the machine is praised for solid build quality, 100W USB charging while gaming, and strong results in Ollama, QGIS, CAD, and Gimp after a RAM and SSD upgrade. The 240Hz screen upgrade is called inexpensive, though the base RTX 5070 has 8GB of VRAM and the non Pro Legion tops out at that GPU. Extra savings may be available through Lenovo chat or student discounts, making the final price notably lower.
Chatting with a Lenovo sales rep can reportedly add an extra discount on top of the posted deal.
Upgrading RAM and storage can improve real productivity workloads like Ollama, QGIS, CAD, and Gimp.
The Lenovo build can support gaming while charging over 100W USB, which improves portability.
The AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 includes an NPU and targets mobility and battery life while staying decently powerful.
The RTX 5070's 8GB VRAM can be game-dependent, with some games needing 12GB.
Student discounts may not appear when converting a Lenovo sales rep quote into an order.
Zen 5c cores can be slower in games that need more than four cores, which may hurt performance.
Non-Pro Legion models may not offer a 5070 Ti option, limiting GPU configuration choices.
