Checks a lot of boxes on paper, but is it any good?
Project farm did a test on leaf blowers and worx wasn't included.

I have the single battery model and really like it.

FWIW, I picked up the Ryobi 40v blower/vacuum unit that came with 2 batteries and a harness/leaf bag for $269 on clearance at HD.

I don't think it's going to work as a replacement for my Stihl BG55, so I am debating whether to return it.

The thing is an absolute elephant, it's louder than a top fuel drag car, tips over if not on completely flat surface, the mechanism to switch from blower to vacuum is gimmicky and feels like it will break (as many people have complained about happening in reviews), and the backpack harness is pretty much useless (can you explain why it doesn't have a slot to put the extra battery in? I am deathly afraid of using it for the vacuum function as I had hoped as there is no chance I will avoid what many reviews mention it sucking in rocks and grenading the internal blades.

I have a pretty long driveway (750ft) that is home to some broad leaf maples and cottonwoods. After two runs at it with both fully charged batteries, I am still not quite finished with it. I would typically run about 1.5 tanks of fuel in my Stihl to do it but would be able to finish it in one run. I was hoping for better out of this Ryobi. I think am going to spend a bit more and just get an entry level GAS backpack blower. Every electric yard tool I get that isnt plug-in has been pretty much trash within a year.

RIP
18v Ryobi Pole Saw (chain never stayed tight)
40v Johnsored String Trimmer & Blower (battery dead within a year, trimmer was pointless, forget grass, lucky if it cut through a spider web)
Kobalt 40v String Trimmer (head fell apart after only a few uses)

The single battery model blower is what got me into the Worx system around 10 years ago. Saw it on sale at Walmart, then I got the drill, light, and oscillation tool. All still work well and I'm amazed the batteries are still good after not charging reguarly and leaving them in the hot garage during the summer. Anyhow, I'm migrating over to Ryobi since they have all my needs for my vehicle at a great price - inflator, jump start, impact wrench, and got the Ryobi adapter for my Dyson cordless.
