It appears you don't understand what studio monitor speakers are for. They are not for gaming. They're for audio engineering. They have a flatter sound for accuracy. They're not going to have extra bass or anything that can taint the true sound of a recording.

I have these and the MR5s. The MR3s do have amazing sound for highs and mids. The bass is a bit lacking which is where the MR5s shine. I would still recommend these for the price if you just want some above average/decent computer speakers. The Bluetooth feature is really nice.

Man...I would love to find some nice far field bookshelf speakers on sale. Seems like most of the deals that pop up on this site are for computer speakers.

This is important, as soon as you see monitor or flat it's not going to be what you want for gaming. The Klipsch pro media used to be the greatest under 2-300 pair. They're still very good and haven't heard the updated more expensive model

I understand the difference BW audio monitor and general speakers. Considering everything, would these be a good one for all speakers? Primarily for listening to songs and movies.

I have monitor speakers hooked to digital audio out for pure hissless music then I use bananna to split the out to my 3.5 Jack where I have a little 6.5"(I think) sub with it's own wired remote. I use banana as a crossover too.

Eh, my brain skipped to bluetooth and edifier, I do know what studio monitors are.
yes no bass flat response, but similar bookshelves are fine for gaming.
