I had no interest in anything else I was thinking about the Apple gift card but the problem is I already have a balance that will least a year - basically I got a hundred dollar for free and Lowe's ls only a mile from my house.

Not to mention. you don't have to leave the comfort of your home, some GC deals like at Dollar General require a trip to the store, granted some are egc's, but if you'lre planning a major purchase of an appliance, loading up on discounted cards from multiple sources saves a lot of money on a $1K purch.
