This seems okay but not great. This is similar performance to the 5060 or 9060t 8gb but this is going to use a lot more power. The 9060 has been pretty close to this price and I think new card using much less power is probably worth the small premium.

If you can get the other two refurbed or used for the same price i'd do it though, for most the less power draw and DLSS would be worth it alone on the 5060.

Mostly true. I think the new generation runs on PCIe gen 5 x8 which is the same bandwidth as this PCIe 4 x16. But if you're running an older motherboard without gen 5, you may bottleneck on that. My motherboard is gen 3 so a 3070 is probably where I maxed out bandwidth.

not better than 5060ti 8g on a sale. You also need a good psu to run this thing.

The 9060xt has a full 16x slot so no limitations there. The 5060 does have an x8 interface so can suffer in some situations when you compound that with an older MB with older gens of PCI-E support. The impact typically is only large when running into memory pressure because of the 8gb memory on the card. The best solution there would be a higher memory card like the 16gb 5060TI or 9060XT. That's obviously going to depend on your situation and if you are looking for an upgrade for an old system or possibly trying to build a newer budget system.

3070Ti was one of the worst refresh releases. Uses a lot more power than the base 3070, same amount of RAM, and the faster ram barely improved performance.

$100 less than new 5060ti. 5 to 12% slower.

the 3070 ti is slightly faster than the 5060 and rx 9060, but it does indeed use more power. I would personally rather have this over a 9060 just for RT / DLSS / Nvidia driver support. Not a bad card for a 1080p setup in 2025. Probably good for 1440p in a lot of games as well, but only 8GB will be a limiting factor going forward.

I think this may depend quite a bit. I found my 9060XT 16GB equal if not faster in most titles. DLSS/CUDA support is definitely a plus, but I personally have been feeling that Nvidia drivers have been wonkly lately on my other machine.

Good deal got a used one last Christmas for 315 so they have come down quite a bit. Getting 120fps or higher in 1440p with DLSS
