Guess you can buy four decks. Since there are only three colors you are guaranteed at least two decks with the same color.

No choice in color which means even if you bought two packs to put a pinochle deck together, you likely would have different backs.

Good deal, but how does their bullet #4 list pinochle among the games for which these cards are great? Pinochle uses a special deck (or two decks mixed together with a lot of cards pulled out, I guess). There are no 2s thru 8s and doubles of 9s thru As in each suit. Seems like Bicycle should know this since they make Pinochle decks too, and playing cards are sort of their only "thing", as it were.

And go fish... when you play that with your kid you're using some themed colorful cards, and almost never poker cards, right? I guess by that logic, you could say these cards are also "great" for Uno or Magic the Gathering, but it would take some imagination. Ha!

Good deal though, OP, thanks! In for at least 4 or 5 of these.

what makes you think that way? what if they ship all 4 the same red?

its not like they are saying they have the same counts for each color in the warehouse.
Then they'd still be guaranteed to have at least two decks of the same color.
The person wanted at least two decks of the same color. The only way to guarantee that is order 4. They don't care if they get more.

these are from clearance warehouse outlet. the box doesnt even look like what they are selling at retail store. they could have a pallet of all blue decks and another 500 in red and 100 in black. its not even a mix n match. they may just ship all the blue ones out until they reach the next color. they dont even promise about the assorted colors.

I was thinking the same as jad74, but the last Costco sale at that price (in the US) was February 2020
