For a desktop with this performance, this is an outstanding value. Truly remarkable how cheap *great* computers have become.

This is a deal that's hard to beat. I was looking at picking up an inexpensive mini-PC by Minisforum or GMKTek but at $400 you'd have to be crazy to buy anything other than this. Nothing even comes close to the value proposition here.

Yes, but it will reduce performance without the battery there to buffer power spikes. At least batteries are one thing you can replace fairly easily and inexpensively.

Wow this is a great deal. At this cost, it really negates the whole 256 argument. For relatively little additional more, you can get an external drive to plug right in and youre set.

I'm still using my M1 mini at home and it's as good as the day I got it

Last purchased this throught BestBuy after microcenter pm on December 8th at the previous price of $450. Just spoke with a rep and they were able to further adjust the price to the current $399 even though it was sold out in my local micro center (180 miles away)

FrontEnd was cached, was showing 7 available until you get to the cart where it shows 0.

I don't need it before Xmas btw, so I hope the sale will last past 25th so I can pick it up easily

Technically Best Buy will price match this but in actuality they won't let you checkout at the price matched price on this item stating technical reasons not allowing them to reduce the price further. In past Apple price match deals with Best Buy when reps have said they will credit back the price match difference many got emails several days later stating their price match was denied, so be cautious.

16GB seems little weak. 256GB can easily be increased. Must wait for one with more RAM.
