I didn't like the issues noted from a google search of this company:
Reported Issues with Buyatab
Non-functional gift cards: Many customers report that the gift cards they purchase arrive with zero balance or simply do not work when they try to use them.
Poor/non-existent customer service: The most common complaint across review sites (like the Better Business Bureau and Trustpilot) is an inability to get issues resolved by customer service, with reports of "run around" and unanswered calls/emails.
Security and fraud concerns: Some users have experienced unauthorized charges on their credit cards after using the site or have had their gift card balances stolen/zeroed out.
Hidden third-party transactions: Many consumers are unaware they are being redirected to Buyatab's platform when buying from a major retailer's site, leading to confusion about who is responsible for resolving issues when they arise.
I would prefer to buy a $100 Lowes card for $80 (or $200 for $160) for true 20% off value. Instead we are getting 16.67% discount. Not bad but not stellar either. 15% off for Lowes gift cards is not that uncommon.
It takes longer to register the cards on the Lowe's site than it does to receive these cards via email. Fairly simple process and worth the bonus $20 or $40. Thank you 🙂

Paying $80 for $100 GC yield 25% more. Either your math skills are poor or extremely poor. There is no third outcome here.
buy if you are planning to use immediately... I lost over $100 in 2 GC's just because I though I will use later and all money was gone.. $100+ turned into $0 in few weeks.. never buying Lowe's GC ever again...
100% the most important PSA on here: DO NOT BUY TO SPEND in 3months+Your Lowe's gift card will magically go to $0 after a few months. You will have absolutely NO recourse.Lowes will not help you.Your credit card will not help you.Everyone will say it was theft or you spent it. There will be no investigation. You will never see the money again.Happened to me a couple times! I went very deep into trying to get my money back. Credit card disputes simply get a response from Lowes that the money was funded and then you lose the dispute.Going to be real on this one, I am pretty sure there is not some huge conspiracy of thieves eating the money, I think it is Lowes themselves. Also, this goes with ANY gift cards from Lowes, not just Lowes GCs themselves.

I agree these are a good way to lose money. Scammers (or Lowes) can literally generate your gift card numbers and drain your card without you knowing. There's no transaction history on these gift cards so no way to tell where your money went.

Did you have them added to your Lowe's wallet in your account? Or sitting in a drawer unregistered?
I only got the $100 gc, a few minutes after ordering, but have not received the $20 and it's been 4hrs. Also, it's odd that Lowes links to a site that process their GC and if you pay with Apple Pay, the email address it uses is: [email protected]. Kind of sus for Lowes.

If you add a GC to your account, nobody else can use that GC anymore?
But what if someone hacks into your account and use your GCs there? I have a Walmart account where I have about $50 GC added. My account was hacked and someone used all my GC to buy some downloadable games. I contacted Walmart and they did nothing about it. So I prefer not to add GCs to accounts.
BTW, those hackers would not be able to use the credit cards saved in my account because they need the CVV # for checking out. But for GCs, they can use right away. In another case, my Panera bread account was hacked and someone used the GC there too. Panera refunded my GC though, much better than Walmart.
So I found it safer not to add GCs to accounts.

I just did the deal early this AM 12/23 no problem. Deal is thru Lowes. nothing was shady. I then uploaded cards to store in my Lowe's account. This is a no-brainer if you are going to spend the money anyways. Even better with military/veteran discount !
