To allow you to set those power bricks away from the powerstrip. These are problem solvers, now just regular extension cords. I use them all the time. Great price for 14 AWG.

For the price, it seems reasonable as long as expectations are kept in check. 😁

bought these 2 years ago for 6.59. That is equal to $6.64 buying power today.

No, on power strips you want straight plugs, not flat
These are flat with the cable coming out at a right angle. They're literally perfect for power strips too.

This isn't much of a deal. According to Amazon's own price history:
Current price: $7.59
Lowest in 30 days: $7.59
Highest in 30 days: $7.99

It's not a bad price and the product has good reviews, but it's not worth jumping to get without a specific need.

I always want some spares of these, but have bought the non-flat plugs in the big packs for quite a bit cheaper per unit.

Probably wouldn't hurt to have some flat plugs in my mix, though.
