This is likely a mistake. The developer's own website mentions it is 42% off for the Switch 2 version. The eShop likely switched the Witcher 3 discount (lists 75% on developer's website but has 42% discount on eShop) with this game. Buy before they fix it.

Yes cross platform saves work but both versions have to be the same ..since the switch 2 is the ultimate version you would need the ultimate version on whatever else you're saving on .....you can't cross save ...base game with the ultimate edition

Never going to happen. Nintendo charges third party companies $15 per unit for just the game card and then there's the packaging charge on top of that.

Community Reviews

Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition on Switch 2 is being treated as an unusually cheap way to get the full game and Phantom Liberty, with strong praise for the story, exploration, voice acting, music, and seamless expansion content. It also stands out for portability, cross save support, and generally solid performance on Switch 2, especially for handheld play. The main caveat is storage, since the download is large and the 256GB internal memory fills fast. The price was also flagged as a Nintendo eShop pricing error that was later corrected, though purchases at the lower price were reportedly honored.

This is cheaper than pc. That is highly unusual for Nintendo to have a better deal than pc on a game.

Yeah. 256GB internal storage is a pain when downloading large games, even with help of SD cards because they are costly today. I recently purchased a 512GB Samsung P9 Express microSD Express Card just for switch 2 and the thing is over $100 with tax. I have to keep telling myself 512GB is enough don't go for 1TB lol
I just bought the 512 GB Onn Micro Express SD card from Walmart for like $60. Works fine.

I also assume price mistake, but ordered anyway. I bet the apology email with cancelation coming within a few hours.

$20.99 is just the base game. This deal is the base game plus the DLC. That costs $38.62 on Steam.

This is a crazy and somewhat inexplicable deal.

Maybe they know each sale is pure profit (minus Nintendo's 30% cut), so the steep discount is an easy few million dollars.

It's my personal game of the decade.

It had an awful launch and CD Projekt Red deserves criticism, but it's an incredible game.

If that was the case, it seems like it would make more sense to discount it on the other platforms. Putting this price on GOG would sell lots of copies and they don't have to give anyone a cut over there. This less than half of the lowest recorded price on any other platform and the game has been on those platforms for years.

I wonder what happens if I have the base game and bought Phantom Liberty separately.
