let's do the math. Kirkland is $50 for 70 scoops. Each scoop is 25g. So 35g of protein per $1

This is 146 scoops for $94. Each scoop is 24g. So 37.3g/$1. So 6.5% better

I'm tired of all these 10 lb bullshit deals that only involve Extreme Rich Chocolate or Vanilla Ice Cream.

Where is the Double Rich Chocolate deal....

That's a better deal per unit weight than this deal.

One thing I will say, is that the Kirkland brand protein powder tastes better than ON. At least the chocolate one.

Unfortunately, the Kirkland protein powder has less protein per gram compared to ON (usually not that big of a deal, if ON isn't on sale).

Need Extreme chocolate or Double Rich. The two taste the same to me. Had Ice Cream flavor before and it is not too bad but i wears on me with 5 pounds. No way I could 10 pounds of it.

This is a very good deal in the current market. I stocked up on Rule 1 Whey Protein blend (blue) in Vanilla Ice Cream through Muscle & Strength last re-supply. It has ~7% less protein per calorie of total product than ON Gold whey blend, but is normally available for ~$180/(2xl0lb). It has been a long time since I had ON Gold whey blend. However, comparison of the 2 – products, based on my recollection, is mixability and flavor are comparable (Vanilla Ice Cream). Cannot remember how ON Gold whey faired in the recent heavy metal testing, but R1 was not evaluated in that test.

That's Definitely not a better deal if you have 5 S&S items, which I guess most people do.

I'm surprised people say double rich tastes the same as extreme milk chocolate. They taste night and day to me. Extreme milk tastes like chocolate milk while double rich is bland to the bone. It tastes like nothing which I guess could be ok but not even close to chocolate.

Where exactly did I say Kirkland protein powder is a better deal than this deal?

All I said is Kirkland protein powder tastes better, and is typically a better deal if ON wasn't on sale at Costco (or even here).

The person I was responding to said the ON deal at Costco is a better deal, which I agreed with.

Honest question, is this safe to use by a 18yr old, 2 servings/day? He is into regular gym and sports but I want to make sure there are no side effects due to this, thx

As long as they're not lactose intolerant, it's perfectly safe. This is milk derived protein, so nothing crazy.
