This is a great game at a great price (lowest price ever according to deku)! I played it on PC and Xbox series x, and PC was a much better experience. The graphics on Xbox were decent but bugged out every once and a while. Reading some reviews about the switch, graphics and bugs might be worse. I would recommend getting it on PC, but if all you have is switch, this game is hundreds of hours of entertainment.

This is not a typical RPG where you easily become an overpowered god. Unless you can invest a lot of time into it, you will most likely dislike it. Melee combat is clunky, archery is extremely difficult, and horse riding can be really bad. With that said, the game is a blast! The side quests are some of the best I have ever played in a game. highly recommend on PC, but for 5 bucks you can't go wrong.

With some QoL patches like save anywhere, this ended up being a great game. And I'm not one who generally like to micromanage all the complex system in games.

I have not tried it on the Switch - refer to earlier comments on the performance for this platform - but this game is really fun. The RPG mechanics are quite unique compared to most common RPGs where stats are limited to Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, etc. The way you're dressed can influence your interactions with NPCs, for example. It's quite hard at the very beginning because you are literally a peasant trying to fight bandits and people trained in combat or just straight up stronger than you, but once you get going the story is great and there is lots of fun to be had.

Agreed if you have the option. I always buy games if they are ~$5 or less if they look good, opting out against this mostly because I know the performance will be a big hit (and I got it free from epic)
