Went to lowes to look for a little fake tree (from 75% sale) Signage all live tress 20 bucks. Picked up a 9 foot 9 inch monster for 20 (original $168). But all the smaller trees also 20. Lots of trees left At my lowes.

There were a bunch of people buying. As we talked it was the same story. Wanted a live tree but it was just to much but what the hell it's 20 bucks. But your right very limited use. So I guess me is the answer to your question.

When our kids were little (yes a long time ago), Santa would bring the tree. Made for a long night setting it up, but we all survived and thrived. We saved a lot doing that--and needed to at the time!
