If you have never used one, think twice. This makes a lot of mess. Oscillating tool is a lot less messy and is more precise for a DIY person.

Plus you can use the oscillating tool for a lot more things.

This is a useless tool, you can use a dremel if you already have one. As others have pointed out it just creates a mess. The oscillating tools have accessories to cut out dry wall for junction boxes in one go.

Love my Oscillating tool. Was coming here to say the same thing. This tool doesn't make much sense.

This is a tool meant for drywalling an entire frame from scratch and has literally zero value for anything else

I found this much easier to make precise cuts in drywall when adding ethernet ports around my house. Also used this before to put in hold little wire brushes to whack off rust from my car and reseal. Trimmed small nails protruding into my chicken coop i built as well so my chickens dont get poked.
