20% off with code YEARENDFINDS, final price $695 (plus sales tax).
I got this from a previous deal. The printer had no usage and seemed to be a customer return. Had broken glass top and door - which Creality support replaced after sending pictures. I would expect issues with this but support is very helpful (at least if you contact them during the 30 day return period).
IMO the best large 3D printer if you don't want to deal with the locked down Bambu ecosystem.

The K2 Plus Combo is a large 350 by 350 millimeter printer that stands out for big single color jobs and a feature set aimed at experienced tinkerers. The listing appears to include a 2 year AllSate warranty, which fits the complexity of a machine like this if parts and support are available. The main concerns are Creality quality control, software openness, and reports that setup can be problematic, with some connectivity relying on a web server first. It reads like a capable but hands on printer, especially if you are comfortable debugging hardware and firmware.
The K2 Plus combo offers a much larger 350x350mm build plate for big single-color objects.
A 2-year AllSate warranty can provide more practical coverage than a lifetime warranty claim.
Creality machines can be workable for buyers who want to debug and fix printers themselves.
Customer service troubleshooting can use shared code and photos to help resolve issues.
Quality control issues can make the K2+ problematic, including concerns about source openness and limited collaboration with Orca or Klipper.
The K2+ is not recommended as a first 3D printer due to setup problems and firmware or software constraints.
A lifetime warranty claim is viewed as unlikely to be honored by retailers or the manufacturer, and a 90-day return window may not help.
Connectivity can be slow because actions route through a web server first, even when the printer is nearby.

I mean, first we have been dealing with a rather rapid update cycle on these machines over the last few years. Maybe that is going to wind down but still. Also, even the best of these machines will require service if you use it enough. Finally, very few items of this level of complexity would have a lifetime warranty. Any that do the warranty cost as part of the total purchase price would either be really high or the scope of the warranty would be really small. Honestly, 2 years seems like a really good warranty on a 3D printer (assuming the company provides reasonable service after the fact).
I do think that multi-year support for things like parts, software updates, downloading of software/firmware etc is critical. For what it's worth, I think Creality still provides support for the old Ender 3 printers.
Tell those who post reviews and comments how they encounter problems out of the box or after some use. Don't confuse warranty against manufacturer defects with maintenance. I've read reviews, comments, watched videos for different brands. If Ender 3 made me want to KMS, buying a new printer is just as bad. I may be joking about lifetime warranty it's never going to happen but i'm not in the mood for being a paid tester either. I don't mind maintenance but it's not the same as replacing failed components out of the box.
I'm also leaning tow the now non-existing bambu P2S(combo), after reading scary reviews for Creality and other brands. Even Bambu isn't perfect. I can't understand why they make flawed unfinished untested products and make consumers their paying testers.

Hard to decide since all brands/models are problematic, have pros and cons, and seem like unfinished product.

However, I prefer to have a working closed source printer to a non functional open source one
Open source completely failed in this case. Sorry.
Doesn't matter how good the software is if it's paired with garbage hardware with no QC.

I'm not going to sit there and sling code for hours, developing some new feature. 95% of users aren't going to do that either. It feels like far-flung advocacy regarding something that genuinely doesn't need it.
All I've heard about Bambu is praise...that "they just work!" I remember entry-level monoprice printers being popular....with a long list of "print these replacement parts first!" before the printer catastrophically fails from sub-par components. Sure, we all like making little tools and gadgets to "make our lives easier"....but when the first 100 hours are already earmarked for day 0 maintenance, that's just gross.
Bambu machine is not free of problems. But the frequency of failed print and maintenance is lower than my old open source machines. Also you can share the code and photo with customer service and they will try to help you troubleshoot.
