This goes down as one of my worst purchases of all time. The 2.5Ah battery lasted less than 8 mins on max setting. The third time I used it, something.got sucked up inside of it and broke off a fan blade. One that happened it sounded like a jet airplane and I decided to throw it away.

I am 6' 200lbs and this thing is awkward to hold. Find another brand or design

This is one of my best purchases ever. Got this 60v from Lowes 5 years ago and use it a couple times a week and worked so good, I sold my stihl gas blower. Ended up getting a greenworks 60v chainsaw that uses the same battery for even longer running times. 4.7 stars with 507 reviews means other user got a bad battery which company would replace and something stuck in the fan is more like it's a user problem altogether.
Would recommend for sure.

Sorry to hear. You must have gotten a lemon, mine has been working great for years and battery lasts much longer than 8 minutes.

Odd....have had mine 5+ years and it is one of my best purchases. Use it all the time. I have numerous 60v tools from them and they all work well. Batteries have held up just fine too.

Wonder if you have this mixed up with something else. I am 6', 170 and it isn't cumbersome to use at all.

Did you hold the turbo (if this has one?) button wide open for the whole 8 minutes? That's pretty good on a 2.5ah battery, these are great because you don't have to have them on the whole time you are blowing stuff. I just got the 80v 800CFM version and it has more power than my gas Hitachi and isn't a lot heavier. And with a 4ah it is supposed to drain a battery in around 12-14min on the turbo mode, which is in line with ANY brand battery leaf blower (have a lot of use with a 20v Dewalt that will suck a battery down fast if you use it in the full power mode).

Having a battery leaf blower is much nicer for most times I would use one, cleaning the deck/trailer/drying the car, all jobs that would be done before I get my gas one started and warmed up.

450CFM with a 60V? That's in line with the Dewalt 20V and several other brands. Why go with this over the others?
