Would buy if I didn't t already have one. This is the last pro iPad that has an IPS screen. The Mini LED on the 13inch m2 pro and the new tandem OLED on m4/m5 iPad pros all have terrible PWM flickering and bothers my eyes. So I'm holding onto mine for a very long time.

When you bought it at that price in October 2024, it was slick; this tablet is almost four years old now. No one should be buying it at this price in December 2025. This tablet was released in 2022, and it is now 2026.

Its sad that this isn't even mini-LED like the 12.9" pro of the same M2 gen. Price looks good on paper but recently we saw M3 ipad Air for $400 which is a much better deal. Similar screen and better chip. Pro has better speakers but is it worth spending $100 more and getting an older gen processor? I don't think so. And for those that screen quality absolutely matters, waiting on OLED M4 sale might be the way to go.
