For those who are wondering, it uses SH30 replacement heads. Better shavers use SH50, SH71 and the (almost unaffordable) SH91 replacement head models.

How does this compare with the one blade? Chatgpt just tells me they're used for different purposes but shaving your face is shaving your face lol

Try a Xiaomi shaver. I switched from Norelco for this reason at least for my travel shaver.

Is there first-hand experience with this specific model and that refill? The site just says "S5000 Series", and then various contradictions on what works with what due to circular vs angular heads. I looked up that SH50 on Amazon and see a lot of complaints from people thinking it would work with their "5000", but turned out it doesn't. I don't know squat about these, but was interested as I'm about due for a replacement foil, and my shaver is so old that the replacement foils are hard to come by.

Example Amazon review:

"...Attention to the description: is indicated compatible with the Philips 5000 series, but there are 2 types of "5000": rounded or angular. These blades do not work on the "angular" model."

Info on Philips webpage for the SH30 refill:

Fits all S2000 Shavers (S2xxx)
Fits all S3000 Shavers (S3xxx)
Fits all S1000 Shavers (S1xxx)
Fits 5000X (X5004 & X5006)
Fits Star Wars Shaver SW37xx

On Target's site, this model is "X5004/84". I can't find X5004 or 5000x on Philips page. So caution in case someone is dead set on using S50 replacement heads.

Not bad but ordering from Target may be better than from Best Buy, as 90 days vs until January 15 return window.

Agree. I solved this by searching Amazon for "Norelco USB c adapter" and buying a dongle for $8. Not ideal but its better than carrying the real adapter while traveling.
