Fantastic deal at $1.20 per cell before tax if you do S&S. I was able to order 2 packs and got the same price on both so the coupon is "per unit".

Agreed. An awesome deal, especially if you need it to power something that may sit unused for a decade or more but absolutely, positively has to work when you need it. Like a home weather emergency kit.

Great deal price wise, but Lithium should absolutely be rechargeable but for some reason these are not.

These batteries are great. They have been in my door lock for a year and still are at 85%. I used to have to change batteries every 3 months or so with regular batteries.

Because even low self discharge rechargeable lithium Ion batteries don't hold their charge for 2+ decades. These batteries make perfect sense for certain use cases and this is a very good price if you have such a need.

They also work when it's crazy cold and maintain proper voltage until the very end of their life. Very important in certain situations.
