SO...I assume this is less powerful than a Dyson. Ive been considering (with little commitment) the Dyson V15 but have also been seeing these Tineco vacuums as well. What would be the downside of going this vs say the V9 or V8 or V10 (since those seem to be of a similar pricepoint)?

This is a mop more than a vacuum. We bought this to use in conjunction with a Dyson 15 to mop after a quick vacuum. This can only be used on hard floors.

That Tineco is very poor quality. I bought one two years ago and the motor already burned out, started smoking, and then stopped working completely.

For about the same price on Amazon, not even looking anywhere else, I recommend the Dreame H12 Pro instead. It has open heads on the sides to get closer to walls and the self cleaning station heat dries. Does what Tineco's incredibly more expensive S7 kinda does.
