I would have agreed with you until two years ago when I bought a few of their items. The quality of the materials, the material blend, comfort/fit, customer service, and warranty make it worth the price (on sale). They've also held up much better than any other brand I've worn in this price bracket.

I have spent a few grands on Lulu. These shorts are not high quality stuff at all, but on par with amazon essentials at 1/3 of price. Not all Lulus are equal.

Lol. Pass the drugs. Lulu is over priced 100% but cheap clothes like Amazon essentials really don't compare in quality of how they feel or look.

I have tried their stuff. They are fashion first, functionality second. Agree with the poster that not all their stuff is the same quality. Their shorts and pants have small pockets. So stuff falls out and you cant even put a larger phone in there without it potentially falling out. Their T shirts are not sunproof so plan on getting sunburnt. On the other hand, I have one of their thermally regulated pullovers and it is warm, easy care. High quality, But you have to spend some time to find out what stuff is decent.

I'll agree with you to offer a counter voice to the people who always flock to these deal threads to proclaim that lululemon's quality is on par with brands like Costco and Amazon essentials. That just simply isn't true. Their stuff's very very expensive and often it's not justified, but objectively their stuff is better than cheaper brands and if you can get it on sale it's 100% worth it.

I've been so unimpressed by costco clothing after finally succumbing about 2 years ago. The price is fantastic but you're right in that the quality simply is mediocre at best.
