This bundle pairs a Ryzen 5 9600X and MSI B850 Gaming Plus Wi Fi board with a 240 millimeter liquid cooler and 16 gigabytes of RAM, making it a strong value for a midrange custom build. The extra cooler and memory appear as gift items in cart, and the price compares well with recent bundles and near prebuilt pricing. The main catches are that the RAM has gone out of stock, the board has no HDMI for integrated graphics, and the cooler may be overkill for a 65 watt CPU and may not fit older cases. A solid fit if the parts line up with your build plan.

  • The bundle can show the cooler and RAM as gift items when the CPU and motherboard combo is added to cart.

  • The motherboard pairing can be useful for building a near-prebuilt priced system in the current market conditions.

  • The CPU compatibility messaging can be bypassed on Windows 11 systems with no noticeable performance difference besides slightly higher memory usage.

  • The 240mm liquid cooler can work well for upgrading older desktops that need a new cooling solution.

  • The included RAM can be out of stock, which can remove the bundle's strongest value.

  • The 240mm liquid cooler's thick radiators can require dedicated case spacing that older cases may not support.

  • The motherboard can lack HDMI output, so internal GPU users may need a compatible converter.

  • A promotion eligibility issue can require follow-up emails when RAM is out of stock and later restocks.

Liquid cooler doesn't really make sense on a 9600X. It's a 65w CPU. Good price if you really want to liquid cool a low power CPU though.

Solid deal, makes custom building nearly price comparable to prebuilts given the RAM crisis. Unfortunately the RAM is OOS now so what was an amazing deal is now just a great deal.

Naw, just flip the cooler for like $40-$50 back. (assuming you already have a HS/fan to use. Not much point in flipping it if you just have to buy something else.)

Damn this is a a solid combo
Correct. Especially in the current market. This is a solid combo for a decent build in the 1k region. 800+psu, 5060ti (16gb) / 5070 / 9060xt, case, hard drive/s and you will be happy. Hop on the train now while you can.

Wow they're really pushing the liquid coolers this year. Seems like every bundle has one.

For anyone finally getting around to Windows 11 compatible upgrades for their long-time desktops (like me), mind these things have thick radiators that require dedicated spacing inside your case. Seems like a standard feature in a lot of newer cases, but anything older than a few years might not be compatible. Don't assume you can fit them into any spot you'd normally put a similarly sized fan. Smilie
You can get around that "compatibility" nonsense. The upgrade tool told me I had to upgrade my CPU and I have not. I'm running 11 now. I notice no performance difference besides a little more memory usage. It's somewhat bull*hit.

Yep you definitely can I can confirm this as well Smilie .. if anyone is wondering how to do this message me and I'll give you the same info I found online from a reputable source (honestly though in this day and age - and I admit eevli would know a lot more about this than I would Smilie .. while I had a similar "your CPU is too old" thing I got around I was fortunate enough to have secure boot and TPM on the machine in question, a bit nervous about PC's without it with all these "hackers are coming for your PC" stuff I hear about online Frown )

Just built the same config during the Thanksgiving weekend - paid about $30 above this price (without the AIO). Right now, don't see the RAM added in the page - just the other 3 items though.

FYI I ordered these on Dec 23rd at 8pm with the RAM OOS but they still showed in the cart as a gift item. I emailed them the next day asking if the ram would ship when it's back in stock. They gave me the run around for a bit saying the promotion ended at 4pm and so I wasn't eligible but after some arguing and telling them multiple people on here placed orders after 4pm including me, I didn't even have the bundle in my cart till after 7pm. They emailed me today saying after investigating further, they confirmed I was within the promotion period but I would need to monitor for when the RAM was back in stock and email them to have it sent to me.

Try using PCpartpicker.com. Plug in the parts you have and it'll kinda guide you to what it believes to be compatible parts. Atleast it'll tell you when it thinks there's an issue.
