Yes it's true you don't get to do "only record human" unless you get the premium but even for completely for free, this camera has great motion detection. I've had a bunch of Eufy cameras and they would always miss stuff. These blink cameras are pretty easy to set-up. Only thing is that it will drain battery quickly if you have it on the highest settings.
