Have these up by the ceiling on my walls in my office and they are great. Use them mainly for ambience/warm light but are great for holidays or other vibes as well. Govee never disappoints

That's pretty expensive for just the lights and the diffuser. A couple years ago I got a 65ft roll of the govee rgbic lights and installed them with a set of U-channel diffusers also from amazon. All in was maybe $80 considering the govee "sale." They're still up and working great. So while this would be maybe easier than what I did, it would still be a bit over twice the price all together.

The lights were likely much lower quality and/or quantity (leds per meter) even if they were govee rgbic leds.
