Agreed. I have 2x Floor Lamp 2 and also the 144' Outdoor String Lights 2 (I bought them direct from Govee when they came out for $119).
They are great lights and integrate well with my Home Assistant setup. The holiday themed programs in the Govee Home app are also pretty good.
Look at their 90 day price history. They do this all the time. They jack it up double, drop it to 60, jack it up double, drop it to 60. Over and over. Fake sales. Shady bs

They were also brighter (per bulb) than some others I looked at. The spacing isn't too bad. I installed them earlier this month and they look great, especially for the price of the 144 foot.

If you keep it on sale the whole time legally you are required to change the MSRP, this way they take it off sale, jack up the price and boom. Same goes for all retailers.

I'm trying to reconcile the excellent reviews with experience of owning Govee products.
Yes, they back their products. We've owned two (indoor) LED strips, and one lamp. All three failed. All three had been replaced by Govee customer support, no questions asked. The replacements failed within a year as well.
So, either quality has dramatically improved in the last three years (when we purchased ours),
or people leave the reviews before seeing longevity of the products.

The replacements failed within a year as well.So, either quality has dramatically improved in the last three years (when we purchased ours), or people leave the reviews before seeing longevity of the products.
I've had plenty of their products for years. Including the permanent outdoor lights. Only issue I've had with any product is a control box going bad on string lights v1 which they replaced.
