I saw the redpocket $30 a year unlimited text/call plan still available on ebay. but chatgpt says it doesn't work with apple watch

USMobile has a plan for Apple Watch's for $78. Works great for a kids plan as it's a standalone plan, doesn't need to be tied to a phone.

BetterRoaming is also $78/year for a standalone watch plan with a free 7-day trial period. Sometimes a little spotty with incoming calls and texts, but haven't had any issues with tracking, which is mainly what it's used for.

I agree with you for the most part, who doesn't have their phone in their pocket? I once heard someone say in lieu of having a phone, your kids can have this for emergencies and they don't have to be subjected to online predation or social media influence. A modern day flip phone.

We've got Verizon Unlimited and it only costs us $7.50/month for a standalone plan for our oldest daughter's watch (she's not allowed a phone until 14...maybe 16).
