There's definitely some sacrifices in sound quality for durability but all JBL sport headphones I've had have died naturally instead of from the buckets of sweat I output.
I recently purchased the TWS series of JBL headphones that was posted on Slickdeals back in October. I am very disappointed with them because I use them for Teams meetings or Zoom calls at work everyday and they have performed horribly as people tell me all they can hear is is me mummering or can't hear me properly. This has been a consistent issue and numerous people have complained whenever I talked with them. Same issue with phone calls over Bluetooth . The noise cancelation factor is just bad.
Anyone have these as well as the JBL Endurance Peak earbuds that I currently use and love? Wanted a backup pair but the Amazon warning about this being "a frequently returned item" gives me pause.

I've had mine for a year and absolutely love them. I use them for when I'm going to be active, these won't fall out. Loved them so much I bought the blue ones for the wife since she had actually started to use mine all the time. I take phone calls every once in awhile but not for work meetings or anything but they work great for me.
Yeah although with your buds I assume that's 90% just people not liking the fit out of the box. I would think wearables and earbuds in particular are probably among the more frequently returned items in general since they don't fit universally in people's ears.

Bluetooth has never been optimal for professional messaging. It's why the headphone jack was ditched way too prematurely. When it comes to sound quality and latency wired earbuds are still so much better. And especially with true wireless where you're introducing so many points of failure and so much miniaturization. Microphones aren't good even on the best true wireless earbuds.

I don't know enough about the methodology but I would think earbuds are going to be inherently high return items because people don't like the way they fit. If they don't fit perfectly people return them. But I don't know I mean it maybe that's factored in and these are bad even accounting for that? Honestly that little warning from Amazon raises more questions than answers without a little details about the methodology.

You pointed out a potential future feature. Someday ai will correct your speaking. So no more umms, stuttering, and unnecessary gibberish on calls. Everyone will speak perfectly for a modest sum.
