Incredible story that you'll want to tell your grandkids... During Amazon prime day in October I decided to do a new PC build rather than wait until black Friday. I bought several DDR5 memory kits. 64gb gaming DDR5 for $175. I did my install without issue. I ended up having the leftover DDR5 kits, watched the price at least double in price within a few weeks, sold the kits on Craigslist, and all the profits paid for my new PC build. 😂😂
Haha that's funny. Let me tell your grandkids about the time I bought Apple stock in 2004

They're desperate to cash in on ram. I'd have bought this probably if it were cheaper and didn't have the RAM included.

You'll still need RAM, so what sense does that make?

The sad part is a memory shortage is coming.......remember the pandemic, prices could rise another 40% next yr.
AI is the black hole consuming it.

Seems like a good deal if you are looking to build and don't have a Microcenter close by. MC has a 265KF combo with MSI MB and GSkill (non-RGB) RAM for $570.

For anybody considering the Intel Ultra 7 265KF, you might want to hold off on this deal: https://wccftech.com/core-ultra-7...ra-7-265k/

Good deal, purchased this CPU with an AIO a few months ago to update office computers. Anyone saying to hold out for an upcoming product, such as CPUS or graphics card "supers" should just be ignored. Bought tons of "high CAS" DDR5 ram that was deemed a bad deal and to "hold out" for better kits while they were dirt cheap, only to sell them for 4x the price I bought them for... If youre in the market for a new system with pretty much the main components included for a "2025 deal", just buy it. Theres always gonna be a new shortage with some of these components in the future, just the reality of it all.
