Yes requires subscription but if you are going all in its not bad at all. I have 10 cameras and an alarm and pay 20 a month. We'll worth it. Imho

I regret buying Ring camera...

yeah, you just handover your privacy + $20/month of your money, lol....
As opposed to what other cloud options with alarm and at what price point? That also allows insurance discount saving about $200 a year

I have looked. It was better when it was just $10 a month but for a monitored home security system I havnt found better.

It is. This offer is bogus. At least give us a 2k or 4k version to upgrade to. All of my 5+ year old ring devices are already 1080p.

You just need a camera for that discount.

ring is a head scratcher for me. very expensive and no longer have innovative security cameras. i guess since they were one of the first players, ppl stil rock with them. ring also does require a sub for most stuff. if im going to drop ring type cash im going to eufy. so many cool cameras with better specs and features.

I have had ring cameras for 6 years and just switched to Eufy last week. I would never go back to ring again.

Not sure if anyone will see this in time, but the ring floodlight cam pro (2k) had an upgrade promo for me for $100 off (terms say I don't need to recycle the old device). $128+tax for the 2k pro model seems like a better deal than $80 for the older 1080p plus model.

I currently have an original 1080p floodlight, so it seemed like a reasonable upgrade for $130.

Personally, ring cameras have worked pretty well for me, but I go with it because of active alarm monitoring. Even with the price increase since launch, the value is still pretty strong with video cloud storage.

What exactly is the upgrade if it's still 1080p? What does it do extra?

Yeah. Users pay money but functionalities are crippled unless they pay more money. Only fools pay money to give up their privacy lol. Ring users are even worse than apple sheep, at least apple don't cripple their macbook or iphone

Deal didn't work for me, but I ordered directly from the Ring website which gave $10 off, making it $89 for being a ring protect subscriber.
