I'm assuming these will all drop in price when the Federal rebate expires on Jan 1?

No way the IRS would know the difference or really care. Just have the receipt before the deadline. BUT again, the price of these will probably drop after the rebate is NLA. When people have to actually pay a price that is not subsidized, Adam Smith's "hand" brings the prices down due to competition. Let's see how low we can go!

Wondering the same thing. I certainly don't see them going up in price dramatically when that goes away so I'm waiting for now.

This. I have 32kwh on a truck coming to my house. I'm claiming the credit. Nobody will care.

I expect prices to drop after demand dries up without a tax credit, but it's unlikely to drop 30%

That said, I'm getting 32kwh of battery and a 10kW inverter for $3500 after tax credit with a more DIY Eco-Worthy system. Much more work to install, but worth it

Where did you find this set up for that price?

the paid receipt by 12/31/25 is the requirement, not your receiving it.

no matter the discount amount, i'll always read the "i'll wait for a lower price" or "i'll wait until black friday". over & over, it never fails.

I've been looking at the Eco-Worthy batteries with the rack for $5k. Which inverter did you get? I'm not looking to run solar at the moment. I just want the batteries as a backup option.

yeah, the last month of the year to qualify for a 30% tax credit isn't the time to start thinking that you want a backup like this. it can work great for others though, that want to add on to established systems. i added a third dpu extra battery last week ($1329 after tax credit), since we had the inlet & interlock professionally installed months ago.
