These are stamped blades, not forged. Also the bread knife length seems to short. I have heard the manufacturers usually shorten the length of bread knives in order to make it fit in a block as they are part of the set.

Correct. An easy way to tell is the logo. The international ones only have one figure in the logo, the real German ones have two figures.
