It is absolutely not worth the price anymore.
I had a 2015 and 2017 bottle - paid $300-400 each.. both smelled fantastic and lasted me years (like 5 years with occasional use). One spray was WAY more than enough for the day.
This new stuff is watered down garbage. It smells the same, yes. But the projection and longevity are awful. It takes 3 or 4 sprays to get a good scent, and it's almost gone by the time I get to work (45 minute drive). Cremo lasts longer. Just avoid - the old Aventus is dead.

Fragrance is a common allergen so I can understand some people not reacting to it well but that doesn't equal "hazardous".
While we're at it we should probably take a deeper look at dihydrogen monoxide that's been popping up in some products at the supermarket...

It's just a suggestion to do some research because some of this stuff (specifically sold under the Parfum/e rubric may be full of toxins). This is very new research but I'm neither an MD nor a PhD researcher (nor do I play one on TV).
There are researchers that I respect however, and though I can no longer do the organic chemistry metabolite break downs I once could/learned (epidemiology at Yale med), there are some aberrant paths this stuff can take. Basically, we're not treated well by most industries when making money is paramount.
Of course anyone is free to eat "cheese like substances" that come from a pressurized can as well. It's still somewhat of a "free" country. Merry New Year...
