Couldn't you just put some polishing attachments on a drill? Explain the difference?
Yes, a right angle drill would deliver more power and can also use larger backing pads. One downside though is the added weight.

in for 1. I have similar detail polisher from HF. It chews through batteries and they have discontinued them. Needed to upgrade. Picked up a charger for $5 at goodwill. Great deal.

Anyone know how this compares to the Milwaukee DA Polisher? Worth it for the difference in price vs capabilities?

In my experience, I find single axis rotary polishers/sanders present a higher risk of swirl marks, surface burn-through, and over-sanding than DA (dual-action) random orbital polishers.

is this dual action polisher ? It seems it spins in one single motor
It is not dual action. Milwaukee does sell a DA polisher, but that one retails for $280.00 tool only.

Be very careful with this on paint if you don't know what you doing.

If you have a drill, the 3M Ultra Headlight Restoration Kit comes with everything you need. I just used it last week on my headlights.

Having said that, very tempted to get this deal for both detailing my car and some sanding work.
Do you have a link for the 3m headlight restoration?

Cera Kote at Home Depot or elsewhere works awesome. So far staying clear for about 4 months or better.

Is this the lowest it's been? Looks like a wonderful deal. Making me want to retire my orbital corded for polishing/waxing car.
It's gotta be close, probably the best deal with the batteries. I have had no faulty 3.0ah batteries.

I have used two of these over the years. They are the smallest and the lightest polishers! I prefer this over any heavier polisher with or without dual orbital actions. The size is a big win as well!

This is definitely not designed for polishing paint for those asking. I'm sure you could use it with the right pads if you have some experience polishing paint with a non-dual action polisher. But it's mainly for polishing metal and sanding. And it's great for polishing things to a mirror shine
