No this uses their top of the line Strip Light 2 Pro which has a much higher LED density and better brightness. I recently got the 32ft of it for another project and it blows away their basic strips. The Strip Light 2 Pro is $70 for the 16ft so this is a pretty good deal considering the extras.

Based on photos this light looks nice, but when it's off I think it'll look like a ghetto clothesline just hanging on the ceiling. Maybe for a specific use case it'll look better? I almost bought it many times but ultimately decide against it

Where/how do people use this? Seems like a cool idea but you just have a string hanging across your ceiling like a clothesline?

nope.
it's longer than 19-feet? My guess is it would be too much weight on the hooks if extended further than that. I have mine just in drywall since the studs are aluminum.
