Note that this doorbell has built-in rechargeable battery (you recharge it every few months).
There is another Tapo doorbell, model D130[amazon.com], that is wired only (no built-in battery), but allows continuous recording (AFAIK, no battery-only doorbells allow that). It has different specs and only a few cents more ($42.22 - 20% = $33.78).. Choose whatever fits your situation.
battery only, requires jumper to bypass existing chime (most hardwired doorbells don't have this requirement). And looks like the jumper is not fused, don't cause the dead short during installation...

I bought this October 29th and I have not yet charged the batteries, they are currently at 23%. My only gripe is that they included improper screws for the mounts. Other than that, it works great and I've had no issues. I own four tapo C402's and they work great. They constantly push updates and whatever issues I've had with them in the past have been fixed by the updates. The community forums are very active.

The D225 is both battery and hardwired and has a larger / longer lasting battery. You can use it battery only.
The nice thing about these is they will record directly to MicroSD so no need for subscriptions or storing video on the cloud.

This deal is for d210 and not d225. D225 is twice the price, d130 is about the same price as d210 in this deal.
