Need experienced opinion please. Is this a good deal with an additional 100 off amex that expires in 2 days? I need a laptop but not in a lot of hurry. Can buy now or wait a few weeks.

It was a better deal pre-Black Friday when I bought it for $499. It went down to $449 for a brief time after BF. Sign-up for Dell Rewards for additional $$. I paid a net price of $404 after sales tax, 10% off coupon, and $100 AMEX offer. And, that was after adding a wireless mouse to bring it up to the minimum $500 AMEX offer requirements. Plus, I got a free Dell Laptop Sleeve after getting $27 in Dell Rewards credit (applied after shipment).
Keep in mind: No backlit keyboard and HDMI port is 1.4 version with only 1900 x 1200 support. I use the USB-C 3.2 port for full 4K support at 60 Hz. as it supports Display port 1.4.

check your amex, mine got extended to 1/31/26
