This gives your Switch the ergonomics of a Steam Deck. If you don't like the joycon sticks, this is much better than carrying the console and a separate controller. I've played and finished more games on my Switch in handheld mode because of this thing.

I have both version of the Nitro Deck. While the + version has the dock ability, which is pretty handy, I prefer the original one with the asymetrical sticks. The Nitro Deck + has symetrical sticks less like Playstation controllers and more like the Wii U gamepad.

On a side note, CRKD announced the Nitro Deck 2 a couple weeks back, which will be compatible with both the Switch and Switch 2, can be wired or wireless but costs $100 to pre-order.

These feel kind of cheap for 50 bucks, since the gen 1 switches are on the way out, it may be better to wait on a Mobapad deal

I have one of these, and love it. The vibration is weak, but it's otherwise an awesome product.

I have to disagree. I think you're confusing lightweight with cheap.

The buttons have a solid, non-mushy, feel. The hall-effect joysticks are very smooth and the triggers are snappy. The plastic texture is just right. Joystick tops can be swapped, it allows passthrough charging and has programmable back buttons.

Not to mention is significantly more ergonomic. Best upgrade for my OLED I've ever done.

Also, $43 =\= $50

I have the Nitro Deck+. It feels better for sure but the layout makes some games difficult to play because of the changed layout. games like ToTK feel tailor made for the switch layout but not for the Deck+. This version has the same layout so this might be better for some (but you miss out on the docking feature of the Deck+ which is nice).

Thanks. I was trying to figure out the difference of the models
