I had bought a bunch of dirt cheap 2400-3000mhz DDR4 to go along with X99 Xeon builds. Now those can go in AM4 builds instead.

I have a buddy with a thread-ripper 1920x/32gb ddr4 and a 9070xt. Would this perform better than his 1920x?

in gaming yes, main advantage of thread ripper is core count but the per core performance is weaker
