I have one of these, they heat up surprisingly fast. Havent tested longevity of the battery long enough yet but they a lot faster than a normal glue gun

This seems like one of those things that doesn't need to have a battery, and will just add to e-waste after the presumably low quality battery kicks the bucket.

If you want a wireless hot glue gun, and you have Ryobi tools, get a Ryobi hot glue gun.

That is exactly what I did. Just bought it on sale for about half off earlier this month. Ryobi makes a good product. Also, I'm already into the Ryobi family of outdoor tools.

Ehh. Yes and no. I have several random things that have pre installed batteries. And many of them lasted 5+ years. From Bluetooth speakers. Electric razor to flash lights. And hot glue guns for the average person let's face it aren't using them all the time. So assuming people aren't leaving it on the charger 24/7 you can make even a cheap poorly made lithium ion battery last a long time.

so you came to this thread to post a negative comment about something you don't want, won't use, haven't used and also know nothing about. That is also presumably low quality comment!! LOL

I have the one of these brands, but slightly different. I'm assuming I have the older version. It really works amazing. Heats up in about 20 seconds, doesn't drip, has a charging stand like this one. It's amazing how many uses you have for a hot glue gun once you eliminate the hassle of a plug. I use it constantly, and I've had it about 3 years. I'm a fan for sure.
