If you travel to EU often, you will find these universal adapters don't work well, they don't fit in sockets or hang correctly. Hotel sockets are looser than the girls in Amsterdams red light district and other sockets are too recessed you can't fit these things in. Get a set of simple dedicated adapters, an extension cord and your US brick.

Something like this USA To EU European Travel Plug [ebay.com]

Airport use, these Universal adapters will be fine for that.

Yeah but then youre carrying around a USB cable in the device that you can't use. Just seems unnecessary - give the user ports and let them supply their own cable.

If you don't find the retractable cord a plus you can pick up a different unit. Acer's model is selling for 19.99 for 70 watt.

FWIW, I've been using a basic travel adapters that is lightweight and has worked out like wonders. I carry an Anker multiport (USB/USB-c) charger to plug in to the travel adapter since we usually have iPad, iPhones, smart watches to charge. Has worked for years.

Would this adapter work with 110 V and 220 V? In the US we use 110 V if I travel to a country with 220 V, could I use my US 110 V devices with 220 V electricity?
