Baseus Enercore CG11 is a compact travel adapter that stands out for its built in retractable cable, fused design, and 70W USB C charging for laptops and phones on international trips. The 45W and 70W versions are the same size, and the 70W model adds useful headroom for laptop charging. It has worked well on trips to Europe, Asia, cruises, and even flights, with the cable and outlet options making it handy for travel. The main cautions are its bulk, the retractable cord as a possible wear point, and the fact that it is a plug adapter, not a voltage converter. A practical pick if you want an all in one travel charger and can live with the size.

Bought and used 2 of these (70w) on a recent family trip to Europe and they were absolutely perfect! Bought an extra one to make sure all my kids had one for any future trips.

everyone and their mother and kids should have one so they don't borrow yours during the trip!

If you travel to EU often, you will find these universal adapters don't work well, they don't fit in sockets or hang correctly. Hotel sockets are looser than the girls in Amsterdams red light district and other sockets are too recessed you can't fit these things in. Get a set of simple dedicated adapters, an extension cord and your US brick.

Something like this USA To EU European Travel Plug [ebay.com]

Airport use, these Universal adapters will be fine for that.
I do think this is decent advice and would totally do it if our trips didn't typically start and end in the UK. However, I would note that my wife had zero issues with this adapter in Europe in plugs that my older universal travel adapter kept falling out of.

That was my issue but I also had trouble with your linked style adapter being too loose on the other end that the weight of whatever was plugged into it (multiport USB chargers) would fall out of them with any minor movement of a USB cable. (very annoying to wake up with an uncharged phone).

Personally I now buy industrial grade adapters like this [amazon.com] and a power strip that meets yours needs. Also gives you an extra 3-6ft which is nice. I use this Anker [newegg.com] It's a more expensive route and a little bulkier but worry free. I guess it's discontinued now but I'm sure there's a similar one out there.

I got my partner a new travel power strip from bestek [amazon.com] in the Spring when we went to Europe and it worked well. $16 and only 20W PD but maybe someone has a more powerful one now in that style and she wasn't bringing a laptop.

This one by Acer is $20. No cable attached and that is a good thing in my opinion.

If you don't care about charge speed, i bought a similar for around $7.50 last year:https://www.ebay.com/itm/155902126987It's now $6.63 each if you buy 2.(doesn't come with retractable cord)
This is fantastic depending on the use case - basically you can plug in to an international outlet and then use whatever charger came with your device. Have one like the type in this post but buying this from eBay for family travels as a bargain priced converter with a few USB ports as an added benefit. (Appreciate the review!)

I usually charge my phone overnight, especially when I'm on vacation overseas.
I'm assuming lots of others do the same.

I'm not going to spend the extra $ to charge the phone to full in 15min when Im not going to use it till 8hrs later

Understood. Low wattage travel chargers with USB built in has been around for many years. My company gave them out as swag in 2018.

Clearly, if someone is reading a deal about the newer, high wattage travel chargers, they're not looking for near decade old technology. It's like recommending an iPhone 12 today.

Your comment, comparing that no-name, low power charger is going to end up leading someone to buying a piece of junk that they thought could do a lot more.
