Included with GamePass too for those who have it. I'm tempted to buy it but for Doom games I preferred getting them for PC.

As a lifelong Doom player I was ecstatic when this came to game pass for free. I immediately downloaded it, started playing it, and then turned it off. I just could not get into this one.

Preferences differ, I guess. This wasn't even really on my radar, but I'm having a blast with it! To each their own, of course

I was kinda the opposite. I got the 2016 Doom and Doom Eternal and played a bit and moved on. The Dark Ages though, I was engaged enough to finish and for me, would be hard to go back to the earlier games mechanics

At least you can "transfer" the keys to others by giving them the disc. I don't mind that you still have to download the game, I'd bet most people have broadband that's much faster than a disc drive at transferring data

2016 was a fun tangent, but they went harder on it and turned the game into mountain dew gamerfuel arena combat. Eternal was garbage. I have no expectations of this one.

In 20 years, when they shut down PS store in favor of streaming only (or for whatever reason they decide to) the disk will become useless.

Those that collect physical media prefer having a full playable version of the game on disk that you can install and run without an internet connection or having to dl anything.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has been doing a version of game key cards on many of their games lately. Mad
