I don't know if they've improved the batteries in this iteration, but the prior version of Cobalt leaf blower batteries sucked. I have a dead one that refuses to charge sitting in the other room which I just can't bring myself to throw out. Yes I know how to jump start them, no it doesn't make any difference. It will only hold a charge once and then it will completely discharge again. My guess is that they're clearancing these things out because they are well aware that their batteries suck.

I have been using a Kobalt 80v self propelled lawn mower for many years. It was bought from a Black Friday deal with two 2.5ah batteries. It works amazing. Batteries are great after years of using, charging speed is great. The only problem is the plastic cover of the grass bag cracked within one year. Fortunately the crack is not getting bigger. So doesn't bother me a lot. I overall am pretty happy with this Kobalt 80v tool.

At least it's got a 3yr warranty on the battery.

I use this to blow away people I'm intolerance of. Warning does not work on Bigfoot. The blowing no longer keeps the voices quiet. I'm out of ideas and don't know what to do. I'm very scared.
