The original price is over inflated in comparison to the adjustable model that is only $30 more. Too bad the one that matters is only 15% off.

Great flat bench, I purchased this a few months ago for $109. I did a lot of research before buying and although I wanted a better name brand I couldn't justify the price. Very sturdy and great for the price!

The gap on that bench looks huge, you probably wouldn't want it anyway

I've had one for years, I purposefully mounted the pad backwards so it's more like a fat pad for flat bench press. Really sturdy frame, the foam could probably be a little better, but it's done everything I need, for the ~$100 I paid I can't complain, $82 is a good price for a flat bench that isn't going to break on you. It's especially good if you want the width it can provide on one side of the pad, even Titan's wide pad is more for just the pad than this whole bench.

I have the adjustable version and a few CAP benches. The CAP definitely makes noise and the Steel Body doesn't. After seeing this post, I am tempted to get this one, too. I bench around 400 and it is sturdy as all get out. The CAP can't hang too well with that. I'd highly recommend this one!

There is no gap dude it a flat bench stationary non-adjusting.

Why not buy a folding one for same price? I still have my folding bench from 20 years ago. Only because it is easy to fold up and get it out of the way. My wife would have thrown it out decades ago otherwise.
