M-Tech's own website lists this as having 3Cr13 steel, which is slightly worse than even 440A which isn't good for a knife blade to begin with.

If you really like the look of this knife and just want to put it your box of cheap knives, buy it.

If you want a knife to use and stay under $10, spend the extra $1.50 and get the Ozark Trail D2 folder from Walmart.
