The R5 1600 launched in April 2017 ($219 MSRP). These were the first generation Ryzen branded processors using the Zen (Summit Ridge) architecture with the AM4 socket. No GPU in these. I ran a 1400 for a very long time. There is a mysterious lock up issue in Linux kernels that requires a sleep mode change(set max c state) to fix --it was a painful time waiting for folks to find that solution.
This was a great processor in its day. That day has likely long since passed.
