Same have this and we tried lithium to see if it last longer and it burned thru it within a couple of months. To me Eufy should provide evidence that it lasts 8 months I call bsh*t. Class action?

Yes, if you used Amazon basic rechargeable batteries. Those batteries are junk. Non-rechargeable batteries are good for up to 5-6 months.

Got this a year ago and the batteries lasted about 7 or 8 months. That is a family of four coming and going..

it has been great. but wished it had rechargeable

I went to Walmart and saw the $80 checkbox, selected it, but when I went to checkout the discount was gone. Going back into the page and the $80 checkbox is gone.
