Because of this deal I started trying ATT in my area and I see that it has better reception than Verizon in the areas I roam. So it might be a good deal for me. Let's see in few days.

Also if you get this plan dont forget to turn off auto renewal or you will be charged 400 bucks

I've definitely had better reception with both the Verizon and T-Mobile networks than AT&T across many states and cities.

This is a good price for great service, even if not quite as slick as some of their recent deals.
My one quibble with US Mobile is that they don't seem to offer anything to existing customers. I chatted with them and they were willing to let me walk rather than letting me take advantage of the last deal or offering me anything at all to stay. So switching back and forth between them and Mint or Visible or whatever seems like the best longer term option. USM is my favorite, hands down, but if something else that works well for me is considerably cheaper, I have no loyalty for corporations who show no gratitude toward me.

Well, the network will be better if and when they get the DISH spectrum up and running. But AT&T is saying that could take three years to fully deploy. And that's after the FCC transaction is approved, which hasn't happened yet.

If I was moving family to this, I would want Verizon. AT&T rural has horrible capacity issues after allowing unlimited LTE hotspots back in 2017-2018.

They just had their "sweet deal" for $119/$150 for the same plan (Same deal but cheaper)

I'd imagine they would run some kind of new years deal in January.

I'm waiting for that one, only because I'd rather have T-Mobile coverage. It's better in my area.

Where can I find the exact current coverage strength for different networks like AT&T, T-Mobile, or Mint in my area?

I believe that was starter for 119. And this premium plan was 360 with reimbursement with a visa/MC to make it a 180 for the plan (sweeter something). I bought this plan with that deal.

Best source would be the coverage map on each of the actual carriers' main sites, in case USM isn't as up to date. But you can just go to usmobile.com site and click NETWORKS right at the top, it isn't exactly hard to find.

All three networks are pretty close in my area. Verizon, er Lightspeed, has the best data speeds but Warp (Tmo) has slightly greater coverage. Darkstar (AT&T) tends to be somewhere in between but is a solid choice and happens to have the best signal at my house, which was why I switched to that last year when we had a tornado and days-long power outage so I was off wifi. In most major urban/suburban areas all three are usually pretty good.

Pretty sure that is the correct play, just switch between carriers that have the good new customer deals. I don't know of any prepaid carrier that will give existing customers the new customer deal

Not necessarily: on Black Friday/Cyber Monday they had the $167 deal on T-Mobiles Network... I believe it wasn't unlimited data( I may be wrong). Around 12/19 the $179 deal was, AT&T network - pay $390 upfront and get a $211 e-gift card. The gift card can't be toward phone bill. I pulled the trigger on. Ps, the gift card expires in 3 months, lol

There's a difference in offering a low, below cost price to attract a new customer vs offering that price to an existing customer. I assume you understand why this works the way it does. Yes, if it was continuously cheap and better that would be awesome.
